Problems playing back audio in Metro 5

Postby J.B. » Sat Oct 18, 2003 2:29 pm

I have an iBook with a USB Quattro Audio Card. I want to record more than one audio track and Metro doesn't allow me. When I record my audio tracks it does not play them back. I can open them and play them back with a demo version I got of Metro 6 but why won't it play on Metro 5?

Perhaps you do not have your audio device or your instruments configured properly.

If you can see levels in the tracks window on playback, then it's a matter of modifying the instruments and busses from the special menu to allocate tracks to the audio out device to hear what's being played.

I think the port configuring between 5 and 6 is a little different.

Under 6 you find some things automatically set themselves when you make adjustments.
Under 5 it waits for you to make some changes manually........the older version is a little harder to configure and setup.

It's good you got there in the end.
