Does SE mean simplified edition?

Postby newmanbe » Sun Dec 21, 2003 2:57 pm

I upgraded (I thought) from Metro 5 to Metro 5.0.2 SE. I noticed that a bunch of features are missing or very well hidden.

What gives?

Special Edition just like protools say limited edition.

Any number change like 5.0 to 5.0.2 is more of an update or bug fix rather than an upgrade......but having said that Metro and Metro SE are 2 products.

SE is a cut down version of Metro for a very large reduction in price.
Your can have 4 audio tracks playing at any one time and you don't get features like time stretch and you're limited in the number of sections.

What you need to do is download the metro 6 demo from the download section and see if the upgrade price between metro 5 and metro 6 is worth the extra money to you.
