Quicktime For Windows Crash (and Workaround)

If you encounter a crash when trying to import or convert an audio file when running a Microsoft Windows 32 bit OS, it is due to a bug in the newer versions ( v 7.7.4 or earlier) of Apple's Quicktime.

To fix this problem we are currently recommending to uninstall the newer Quicktime for Windows and instead install the version found here.
