midi set up help

Postby way » Fri Jan 26, 2007 12:30 pm

i posted this first in the midi section, but then thought since it is a question about LX i posted here as well.

sorry

pasted:

hi,

metro 6.3.8.3 on a mac g4 OS 10.3.9:

i have an m-audio usb axiom-25 with a roland xp-50 connected to it's midi in/out ports (port 2). when i record a track in metro using the axiom as the input device and have the xp-50 set as the output i'm only getting one channel sent to the board from metro. if i change midi channels in metro this isn't picked up by the xp-50. it seems as though i have only one midi channel to output to instead of the normal 16.

reason picks up the axiom as port 1 and 2 and i can control two diff modules in it from the keyboards, but metro is only sending data out on one channel to the xp-50.

i'm really new at this so any suggestions would be good.

also in the audio/midi app when i select "test" port two on the axiom stays red all the time. wonder why?

thx,

wm

Please do not cross post. The MIDI section is fine.
