No Audio Input

Im Back.
Went to start new recording project today.
Last time I used it (several months ago) it worked without problem.
Using Metro 6.3.6; MAC G4; MOTU 2408; PCI 324
I cant get Audio Input
When I go to DIGITAL AUDIO under SET UP
then click DEVICE OPTIONS
there are no choices under INPUT SOURCE

What if you go to Audio MIDI Setup? what displays in the audio side?

Default Input _PCI 324
Audio Input_Analog

Input source is not where you select the device. Select it directly in digital audio setup.

It was something completely unrelated that I should have seen.
It doesnt pay to bee "hands off" for very long.
