This is the Metro command in the File menu for mixing audio tracks. You can tweak your mix as much as you want with automated effects, EQ, etc., and Metro can capture all of it and send it to a new stereo AIFF file with the extension Mix.AIF.

In the Mix Audio dialog box there are two options for mixing:
To Track

mixes your selected audio tracks to a new stereo track in your current Metro document.

To Track and File
same as above, but Metro also creates a new file from your mix and asks you for a name and location to file it under.

To mix audio tracks:

  1. After your mix sounds the way you want it, in the Tracks window select all the audio tracks you want to put into your mix.
  2. From the File menu choose Mix Audio Tracks.
The Mix Audio Tracks dialog box appears.
  1. Click either the To Track button or the To Track and File button (see above) and click OK.
Metro mixes your tracks.Track Mute and Solo settings are reflected in the mix files. Mix Audio Tracks results in a what-you-hear-is-what-you-get mix file.

Important: All automation is tracked during mix down with the exception of Master Fader automation. Make sure to set the Master Fader before mixing.
