Getting Started

Postby pedro101 » Thu Jan 12, 2006 4:13 pm

Hi,

I have a Mac G3 Powerbook and a Tascam US-122 Audio/Midi interface. I am interested in purchasing Sagan Metro for recording on this laptop, however I want to make sure it will work well with my existing equipment first. I downloaded the trial version of Metro and was able to record using my computer's built in mic. However, I'm having trouble trying to get my Tascam Interface set up so I can use it on Metro. Are there any Mac people out there who can guide me through this confusing process? I'm really new at this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Pedro

What OS are you using?

Do you have the drivers for the tascam and is it being seen by the OS?
(ie. if you use OSX is something like the Audio/Midi Setup showing the tascam?)

Do you have a synth/device connected to the tascam (for midi) or are you just wanting to record audio through the tascam first?
