I have that, but there doesn't seem to be a way to create samples. I was thinking more along the lines of a sampler like an E-mulator II.

Vsamp @ www.vsamp.com works out pretty good for creating samples of your own. I'm not shure if it's OSX compatible yet.. You can download a demo (shareware) and if you like the full version is $50. It accepts AIFF (recomended) wave and mp3 for the creation of samples, it also accepts .sf2 and sample cell files.

VSamp is definitely OS X compatible. VST and AU.

Cool, and it appears the full version is only $39, not $50. Not freeware, but it's reasonable. Thanks!

vsamp.com has been unreachable for days... anyone know where this is now available?

(I always tell people to wait til you really need something to spend the $ on it, but yipes, sometimes when its shareware....)

OK I'm baffled. Not for me - not in Explorer, Safari, nor Navigator. No weird proxies set up or anything either, just home dsl that seems to get to everything else just fine. I just get a failed to load after 60 seconds message. Can't ping it either.

It sounds like a DNS issue. Your OSP's DNS servers may not be current/not including that site. You should call them, because it definitely loads fine for me. I downloaded the demo just last night.

I'll try posting it on my FTP server in a few minutes. I'll post back here when its ready.
