Chasing options request

I would like to have the "Chasing" dialog box include options to chase on playback only, on record only, or on both playback and record.

This is relevant when there is only a single track being recorded in situations where one resumes a recording partway through a file and the resulting chasing of system exclusive data may cause stops to stick on when recording pipe organs with SSOS MIDI systems installed.

Okay I understand that you want to separate play from record but in most (people's) cases there will be more than one track in the piece. In that case when record chasing is disabled, will chasing occur on all of the non record-enabled playback tracks when record is pressed? I would think the user would want that.

Yes that makes good sense to me.
Unrelated question:
Is it possible to scroll up and down in the Event editor without using the scroll bar i.e. a key command as in the Graphic editor?

Yes with the mousewheel. In the next release the page-down, page-up, '<' and '>' keys will all be functional when the event editor is the frontmost window.
